Hi,
Within the Event Viewer of the ESXi's with access to a Shared SAN datastore I see
Exclusive Lock(s) held on a file on volume xxxx numHolders: 0. gblNumHolders: 0. Locking Host(s) MAC: xxxx
Lock(s) held on file slotsfile by other host(s).
These Errors are repeating every 30 second or so on all hosts (except on the Locking Host itself)
I think something is not right with the Locking Host as it gets stuck when I try to tail -f the vmkernel log file. Also the Performance Overview of the same host is blank. VMs are still running fine on the same host so far.
Any advice why and if the above are related and what are next best actions? (As a start I was thinking to vMotion all VM's, place in MM and reboot it but open to suggestions/better ideas)
