Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller I225-V (rev 03) [8086:15f3]

Hello

After a recent HW upgrade to use a newer CPU, the Network Card of my Home Lab (ESXi 6.7U3), non production,  is not recognised.

Im guessing that the NE1000 driver needs yet another update.

I realise that the device ID is not part of the recognised HW Compatibility list... its probably too new!
Device ID's in the NE1000 VIB seem to stop at 15Ex ... I guess  15F is next.

Can somebody please include add the V225 Device ID to a VIB ? I'll be happy to test.

Many thanks

Simon

Alas, Net-Community-Driver only works on version 7 😞

this package is not installed on 67. And version 7 is not supported by RAID

Hi, I thought I'd already replied, here goes again.

I left my Intel Pro 1000 PCI card on the mobo because I didn't find a driver for the internal LAN chip. I also use D-Link DGE-528T  Ethernet Gigabit PCI cards that work with 6.7

Cheers

Bridge two D-Link cards for <30€ and you'll probably get better bandwidth.
