Hello,
Following a migration from esxi 6 to 7, I had reimported some of my VM to the new system. Those imported machines are working correctly but I am facing a notification error on the admin page saying something like this :The configured guest OS (Debian GNU/Linux 8 (64-bit)) for this virtual machine does not match the running guest (Debian GNU/Linux 10 (64-bit)). It is advisable to specify the correct guest operating system to allow guest-specific optimizations
When I try to edit the VM options to change that setting, the drop-down list does not offer Linux 10 ...
Linux 8 was the highest version purposed and it seems to match the highest value esxi6 was purposing.
Do you found a solution other than recreating the machine with or without keeping the vmdk?
Thanks in advance
