    Hello all,

I am running ESXi 6.7 on an Intel NUC, and basically everything is running just fine.  I have a number of usb devices connected to the host, that are connected to a VM running home assistant.  When I rebooted the host some time ago, I noticed that when one particular usb-device was connected during reboot (A jabltron alarm system), the host refused to come online.

Pulling the usb device for a brief second is enough to allow the host to continue to boot normally.  I do have to reconnect the device itself to the VM-machine.

While I don't plan to reboot my host regularly, I do want to try to understand what is causing this behavior.  In the host agent log, I see "failed to connect socket" and "resetting stub adapter for server" warnings, but I'm not sure those have something to do with it.

Does anybody have an idea what could be going wrong here?

    Thanks a lot!
