Help me out in below scenario for example i have esxi host with 64GB memory and if i want to run a couple of virtual machines on top of it lets take a total allotment of memory to virtual machine is somewhere 84GB (over allocation) however the active memory will be somewhere 40-50GB. Is this be possible.
if yes how ? as esxi host will display virtual machine consumed memory and which will all exhausted and 100% utilized @64GB.
basically this is a requirement in two host HA/DRS cluster during any maintenance activity so that on either host we can accommodate all the vm’s and undergo with the activity.
