Esxi going unresponsive

Hi All,

I have an early build of 5.5 ESXi in a development cluster going unresponsive, the hostd process seems to be crashing with the following entry last thing logged:

2016-03-07T07:44:07.474Z [E67265B0 info 'Default'] CreateISCSIHBA

I think maybe a rebuild or a patch might resolve this, any ideas?

Thanks Jim

hi,

can you please share more information about your deployment?

What's your exactly issue in this case? Are VMs affected or is just the management network gone?

Are you able to establish a Shell-Session?

Greetings

Falk

Hi Falk,

I patched the host to 5.5 latest build & it resolved it. It seems I was affected by this:

Thanks,
