Esxi 6.5 stuck at boot

my esxi 6.5 is stuck at boot on vmkapi_v2_1_0_0_vmkernel_shim loaded successfully

it loaded well before. And now it doesn't boot anymore.

could you help me on this?

how can I troubleshoot?

how can I repair my esxi install without losing everything?

Looks like a hardware error on Memory / NIC . Does the server has any HBA adapter enabled ? Try to update the BIOS and recheck. Also verify with HAL for ESXi 6.5 supported devices.

so the machine has booted successfully previously, have you just upgraded the Hypervisor? have you changed any hardware?
