Newbie to VMware here.
We had a Server RAID die about 2 months ago.
A technician showed up and migrated everything to a temporary box. It was the host and two vms (Domain Controller and File Server).
Now that the server back plane has been replaced, I recently powered the original server up and all looks good...but the data is going to be out of date by two months.
I want to carry the Original server back into the server room and somehow get the .vmkd from the temporary server back into the original. At least I think that is what I want to do.
Any ideas on how to do this painlessly?
