Esxi 4.0 Harddrive

I had an esxi server for a couple of weeks. I neede to use the HD to save a friends computer. I formated it and installed xp and then went back to esxi a couple of days ago got done conected with vsphere client and found that my virtual machiens where still in the had under stoage. But one seem to be currupted and I can't delete the folder. So i got my Dariks wiping cd out and booted it and did an erase on the hd and the crap is still there. How do I get rid of all the files on the drive

Is this disk a secondary disk with only a VMFS datastore on it or did you reinstall ESXi on it again? If formatting or "diskpart -> clear" does not solve the issue, please post a screen shot to better understand what exactly you see.

This is the one and only hard drive in the machine and I did format it as NTFS and I will post a screen shot soon. I even ran it through acronis disk director formating the shit out of it.
