Error while install vmware tools (see attached erro)

Experts!

While installing VMWare tools, getting following error. Guest OS is Windows 2003 Standard.

"The software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify it's
compatibility with this version of Windows. (Tell me why this tesinging is important.

This software will not be installed. Contact your system Administrator."

Will someone help me to get the solution?

Welcome to the Forums - What operating are you trying to install to? Unless security is set differently on the VM you should be able to ignore that warning - it is a microsoft warning that the software has not been licensed and tested by microsoft -

you just tried run as administrator ?

1. See if KB823559 installed on machine and if yes then remove this and try installing.

2. Disable any antivirus software running and then try installing.
