Error when devoting entire Hard disk to datastore

I am trying to setup an Dell PE R230 as a test box but hit a bump in the road. I have ESXi 6.5 installed on a USB flash drive already (Dell customized ISO) and I was going through the steps to setup the Datastore but after I selected the Hard drive (there is only 1 drive, no RAID) it failed with the screen below. The hard drive can be formatted as I don't need anything that exists on it. I guess it's Dell hidden system partitions as no OS has ever been installed on there. How can I fix?

Call "HostStorageSystem.ComputeDiskPartitionInfo" for object "storageSystem" on ESXi "192.168.75.20" failed.

Disk partitioning format change is not supported. Disk must be having non-vmware partitions.

First of all, please use the Web Client to do this, the Windows Client is not supported fo ESXi 6.5. Also ensure that you are using the latest Web Client, which contains an important fix regarding proper disk alignment for newly created datastores (v1.18 can be downloaded from https://hostupdate.vmware.com/software/VUM/PRODUCTION/main/esx/vmw/vib20/esx-ui/VMware_bootbank_esx-... ) The Web Client also offers to delete all existing partitions on a disk/LUN.

Looks like I had to choose "all available partitions" instead of "Free space" under the current disk layout.

Try to open the Host Embedded client pointing your browser to https://your-esxi-host-ip/ui, enter the root credentials, and clear the partition table of the disk that you want format according with the following screen:

Thanks! I'm using the web GUI now. Seems to be working great.
