Error uploading files to datastore?

In ESXi 5.0.0 Update 3 Build 1311175, whenever I try to upload an ISO to the datastore I get this error "Attempted to read or write protected memory".    How do I fix this?  Why can't I upload files to my datastore???  I've never had a problem before.

Hi Ken,

Did you try uploading by directly connecting to host?

Not sure if you had a look at below threads error is same but the problem was different. But it may relate to that because whether you are copying a file or creating a VM the backend operation is same, please have a look

Attempted to read or write protected memory

Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that memory is corrupt

Turns out I had to actually remove VMware Workstation from my system path for some reason.  Maybe the vSphere Client tries to grab ssleay32.dll from in there which gives it problems.
