See attachment for details.
Please Help.
Also I have been getting disconnect every now and then, when I am half way through stuff normally. Then when I try to reconnect using the exact same IP ect it says it cannot connect.
This is the error
See attachment connect.JPG for details!
try after stopping firewalls/antivirus if running any.
Also can you try downloading the OVF first locally and import to the host?
Ok i will try this tommow after work. (disabling the anti-virus)
Thank you.
Ok that did not help me abit as when i try to upload Unbuntu into the data base it come with two errors I/O failed OR connection was lost by the server.
And the once i get kicked our for Connection was lost by the server. I cannot get back into the server intill the 5th try or more. Most times i just restat.
See attachment for I/O error.
I also tried stopping AV and anti-malware. Just one question. Where can I get the OVF?
Thanks.![]()
if you want to deploy OVF file, download it form web, google it, connect to ESXi host & then deploy it using File--> Deploy OVF Template.
some OVF you may get free but for some need to pay.
Ok thanks mate that has solved the half of the problem but now I am getting disconnect randomly from the host server.
Waiting for connection.JPG is the first sign then..
Reconnect.JPG is the second sign and this massage never goes away (waited for 15min) so I end up hitting cancel.
Once this has happened and I try to reconnect I get an error saying I "cannot connect". So I either have to restart the management network many times on the server (sometimes dosn't work). Or I end up doing a restart of the server.
if there is any firewall between your desktop/vCenter client & ESXi Host, try to make it off or get the ports opened 80,443,802.
if still connection gets disconnected try continues ping, see if there is any packet drops, there could be network issue?
if are you are getting disconnected when request is timed out for ping, then it means there is something with network.
try reconfiguring the networking on ESXi host.
Check the NIC duplex speed on host.
perform above on client system also if required. have tried the connection/ping from any other system?
check the task events logs on Host for netowrk disconnect or any other thing whic is causing the issue.
check vmkernel.log file.
what Hardwae you are suing for ESXi?
Could you please check that is there any IP/MAC address dublication, in that case frequently drop the connections.
Thanks
