Error create new datastore or add extension to ESX 4i

Hi

i have one ESX 4i host (IBM x3850M2) boot from local storare. I have Clarion Storage and few (5-6) LUNs visible to this esx host. I can add 2 LUNs as datastore but when i try to add extension or create new datastore (for other 3-4 LUNs) i receive following errors:

"Error during the configuration of the host: Filed to get disk partition information." and "Object reference not set to an instalce of an object" on disk/lun Formatting.

All LUNs are smaller than 200GB. Where is the problem? Thanks in advance !http://communities.vmware.com/message/1345335/!!

Are you using FC or iSCSI? For extension, are you extending the same LUN in Clariion or creating a new LUN and trying to add as an extent?

I ran in to a similar issues with the partition table not being read correctly. Check out htis KB article which fixed my issues.
