Error: Failed to mount boot tardisks

After upgrading to the version 6.7.0 of the ESXi we get this error.

Can anyone help with some information on how to solve it? Or at least what may be causing it.

The other versions worked fine, this happened during the process of upgrading from the version 5.5 to the last one available.

How did you upgrade your host ? Directly from 5.5 to 6.7 ?

No, we had to upgrade first to 6.0.

We have been doing the upgrade using two servers and doing the upgrade version to version.

On one of the machines we ran into this error and haven't been able to solve it.

Is there a reason you can't just reinstall this host? If you can't you may want to open a ticket, but I think the upgrade failed, possibly because your out of space?
