Error Event ID 1000 for Vcenter service start

Hi All,

Does any one got the error of Event id 1000 when starting the Vcenter service, this error comes when we have restarted the Vcenter server, and after that when we try to start the vcenter service we get this error, Does anyone able to solve it, if yes can youplease share what all steps you did to rectify it.

Event Source: Userenv
Description:
Windows cannot determine the user or computer name. Return value (1722).

Resolution:

To resolve this behavior, correct the DNS address in the Internet Protocol (IP) properties:
Right-click My Network Places, and then click Properties.
Right-click Local Area Connection, and then click Properties.
Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click Properties.
Type the correct DNS address in the Preferred DNS server box.

First and pretty obvious question but is the entry on your VC server for your DNS correct ?

I would also try and stop the web service if it is installed as reviously suggested

Is this a new install or has it just started happening after a reboot ?
