Enabling audio in a Windows server 2008 R2 guest

I need to enable audio in a Windows Server 2008 R2 guest VM hosted by an ESXi 5.0 host in a vSphere 5.0 environment.

The guest VM should be accessed via Remote Desktop.

A Windows 7 guest VM in the same host have audio enabled and works fine, so I suspect there is some Windows server 2008 R2 issue.

Have anybody confngured audio in a Windows server 2008 R2 gest?
