EVC compatible

I have two HP servers. Is there a way I can determine if  these two processors will support vMotion between them? I know I can enable EVC, but I am not sure if that with even work for these CPUs of different generations. Thanks

Server 1

HP DL370G6

Intel X5550 @ 2.67GHz

Server 2

HP DL580G5

Intel E7330 @ 2.40GHz

According to http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1003212 these two CPU's will work together in an EVC enabled cluster. However, you will have to configure the cluster with the the lowest ("Meron") baseline.

If you just go to the EVC settings on the Cluster you could just click through the different Intel modes and it will display which hosts are compatible with the different modes.
