VM's running on ESXi will work on VMware Workstation with just minor modifications (e.g. networking) in VMware Workstation. Your options are either to Download a Virtual Machine from a Remote Server, export/import as OVF, use the vSphere Converter to convert the VM, download the VM's files directly, or restore the VM from a backup.

You can export your VM's running on your Esxi server as ovf and then import those in workstation. As suggested by Andre you have to do some changes at the networking level.
