  • 1.  ESXi with driver for LSI SAS2308 RAID controller

    Hey guys,

    I have a HP Z840 with a LSI SAS2308 RAID controller card with the boot drive in it, I tried to install ESXi 7 to it, but it doesn't see it, is there an ISO somewhere with this driver in it? I was trying to use esxcli to build it but that one only gets up to v6.7, not 7 and I thought since that card is so old, it should be in the kernel already.

    What can I do?

    According to that page it is compatible, but when I start the computer with the ESXi installer, it doesn't show me the drive in that card to install it to.
