ESXi standalone Host - Auto VM start/stop

Hello,

Can a Network outage cause a ESXi Host to autostart VM's - Act almost as if it has had a power outage?

Kind regards,

Kyle Jones

Hi Kyle, yes it can. Check your Host Isolation Response settings. If it's configured to Shut Down or Power Off, when host loses it's network connectivity, VMs will be restarted on another host.
