I would appreciate input if this setup would be possible.
I have a MacMini running as a server and a HTPC, but I would like to separate the two so that HTPC users can't access the server settings even if they try. I was thinking of running ESXi and at least two VMs, one Mac OS X server and one HTPC of some OS. Will it be possible to passthrough the HDMI audio/video to the HTPC VM?
Does anyone have any experience with similar setups and have additional suggestions?
