Hi All,
I have searched the community and Google, but can't find what I am looking for. I am looking for previous ESXi releases like 7.0U2c. Of course I can download the latest 8.x and 7.x versions, but not the previous versions, at least not that I can find. Are the previous versions available? I have a 7.0U2c host and I want to have an exact duplicate for testing, but I do not have the install media / ISO image. Thanks!
Vmware provides only the latest version as free/evaluation. To get the previous version, subscription is required or you have to purchase.

VMware ESXi 7.0 Update 2c Release Notes
IMPORTANT:
As I can see the 7.0U2c is patch release, so go to the following page and download and update your exiting esxi to the 7.0U2c patch:
https://customerconnect.vmware.com/patch
If you want a new installation, then go to product download page as mentioned below and download the version 7.0U2 or 7.0U2a and then apply the patch to go to the desired version:

All builds of vsphere7 will be availalbe up to EOL.
To download the ESXi 7.0 Update 2c patch offline depot ZIP file from VMware Customer Connect, you must navigate to Products and Accounts > Product Patches. From the Select a Product drop-down menu, select ESXi (Embedded and Installable) and from the Select a Version drop-down menu, select 7.0.
Hi SuperMangere and thanks for replying.
I did find the patch download page and see all of the available patches for multiple versions. However, I believe to accomplish what I want I would have to have the base 7.0 version and then patch it to the version I want. In other words, I would have to start with 7.0 and then apply the patch to get to 7.0U2c. Am I understanding that correctly?
I do not have the original 7.0 installer and I don't know how to get it. Right now I can only download 7.0U3n, which is the latest 7.x version. The url below is the only place I have found to download the hypervisor install by itself. I would think there would be a "previous versions" page or something but I can't find it.

Thank you Sachchidanand.
What you suggest is exactly what I want. However, I do not have a purchased product. I am trying to get to a 7.0U2c in a lab environment. When I navigate to the download url I get the following message which of course is correct because I do not have a purchased product. Is there a way to download previous versions of the free hypervisor?
Thank you!

You can download full ISOs of the latest versions of v7 or v8 with the free vSphere Hypervisor licence, since both 7.0 and 8.0 are supported versions.
I just used this link: https://customerconnect.vmware.com/en/evalcenter?p=free-esxi7
I have the option to download 7.0U3n
Hi scott28tt.
Thank you for the reply. It appears I can only download the latest for the free hypervisor as I do not have a purchased product. I can download the latest in v7 and v8 as you pointed out, but no previous v7 or v8 versions. Thanks.
