ESXi on dual processor server

I am looking to purchase a new server for a new install of the free ESXi.

This server that I have my eye on is a dual processor with dual cores in each processor.

Will the free version of ESX 4i be able to use all resources properly on this server?

What is my shortcomings of using a dual processor with dual cores in conjunction with the free version of ESXi?

I am planning on only hosting 5-10 virtural machines on ESXi.

Thank-you in Advance.

just make sure you apply your key, which will take your copy of ESXi out of evaluation mode.

yes, ESXi will be ale to see all the logical CPU's.

However, just ensure it's on the official HCL. If for personal use check out

Ok Great, I thought for some reason that the free version os ESXi was only compatable with a single processor.

Thanks!
