Hi,

That one .ISO file will contain everything you need for the ESXi 5.5 hypervisor only. It installs the same way regardless if you have standard or enterprise, that comes in later. You can either license the host after by logging in to it via the vSphere client directly or by using vCenter to assign licenses.

You can add and remove licenses (standard to enterprise) and back down again, you just remove the license and then add in the one that you have. If you have enterprise then you will also need the vCenter ISO or vCSA OVF to deploy a vCenter and manage your host(s) via that.

Does that help?

There is One ISO for all the installation. It depend upon the license what are feature you can use based on the license.

In your case you can say that.

Hi,

Yes you are right, as is coolram. All the features are on the same install media and bundled into the hypervisor,  but when you add in the license you will actually be able to use them!
