Hi,
We installed ESXi host on our blade server and add storage as an NFS storage. In the NFS storage machine, there are Virtual Machine files were there. But ESXi host won't recognize any of the Virtual Machines.
Could any one help me how to configure Vmdk file for to access via ESxi host with out any reinstallation.

If you drill down into each of the RHEl and VM1 folders you should be able to add the vmx files to the inventory
I fail to catch what you mean. What does "ESXi will not recognize the VMs" mean?
Do you mean "the VMs can not be registered in the new installed ESXi"? Could you clarify it?
Thanks,
Do you mean you cannot add them to the ESX host by browsing to the NFS datastore and right clicking the vmx file and choosing add to inventory?

Scott
Hi,
NFS shared storage is attached to ESXI host via NFS
NFS path is /tftpboot/VMS/
Figure shown below is the virtual machines at NFS storage
here RHEl and VM1 are Virtual Machines(.vmdk files) , say example windows, linux.
All virtual machines were powered off.
I want to access any virtual machine from ESXi host using .. but ESXi host is not showing any Virtual MAchine
is there any process to start virtual machines.
If you drill down into each of the RHEl and VM1 folders you should be able to add the vmx files to the inventory
Yes exactly ,
Ok .Problem resolved ..
Thank You
