Hi,
I just want to know what ESXi clustering support on different hardware platform?
Example:
Site A consist Lenovo hardware.
Site B consist HPE hardware.
we need HA, vMotion, vReplication etc. should it will be done?
Yes, it is supported, but take in mind that for example, if the CPU differs from one server to another, you will may need to enable EVC to allow virtual machine migrate between servers.
And just one question: hosts from different sites will be on the same cluster ? If yes, you have a stretched storage solution in place ? If not, HA will not restart virtual machine in site B in case of failure of the site A. If you want this scenario, you will need to replicate virtual machine (using vSphere Replication or storage array based replication) and use SRM to orchestrate the site failover.

Thanks Richardson,
The cluster is not yet build but the scenario is on design phase. As I understand , I will create one cluster for both sites hardware (differ platform) then my HA will be fruitful ..right?
One more thing, Lenovo has 18C CPU and HPE has 16C CPU then its supported?
Instead of the number of cores, can you tell me the exact CPU model?
HPE=E5-2683V4
Lenovo=E5-2699V3
One more question: After migration or vMotion what we need to reconfigure the VM? or VM run successfully without configuration?
Another Q: What vMotion or Migration will done without Clustering?
