ESXi cant find newly added iscsi storage, Can anyone help me out?

The case is as follow.

1: I have a vm based on one ESXi platform A(e.g IP is aaa.bbb.c.d1), and one big storage applied from lunX.

2: My vm makes the big storage be a iscsi disk (e.g named myIscsi), and provides it to another ESXi platform B(e.g IP is aaa.bbb.c.d2) for disk service.

3: ESXi platform B added my vm IP into its iscsi storage adapter dynamic list.

The result is ESXi B can see myIscsi in its iscsi storage adapter static list. But when I tried to add storage using myIscsi, ESXi B can't find the newly added storage. Does anybody know the reason? Thank you very much.

Welcome to the Community,

please provide some details. Which software do you use as the iSCSI target? Did you configure the host (e.g. with its iqn) on your iSCSI target and present the LUN to the host?

Hi, Andre

Thank you.

The iscsi software is tgt. I named iscsi target xump_iscsi and configured it being used only by ESX platform B.

In addition, when I configured the iscsi target used for ESX platform A which can find and use it. So I'm confused!
