ESXi VSphere 5.1 HA + SQL Server 2008 R2 MS Failover Cluster

Hello,

I am new in Vmware and I need some info from you:

I am going to develop a production infrastructure based on ESXi 5 with SQL server 2008 Failover Clustering 2 nodes.

The infrastructire is made up by 3 applications (easch one on different servers: App1 on Server1...), Sql server and a storage.

I have thought to use vSphere ESXi 5.1 HA (high Availability) for availability reason for the 3 applications and use Microsoft solution for the Sql Server Clustering.

My questions are:

1) Is it better to use Microsoft SQL clustering on ESXi 5.1 (not HA) or Physical machine?

2) Is it possible to create a unique vSphere 5.1 ESX (2 physical hosts) with the following:

Host1 and Host2 are the physical machines that host VMs

in each host: the are 3 VMs in a vShere 5.1 HA solution (using the 2 hosts) + 1 Node SQL cluster (Using Microsoft Cluster)

HOST1:    VMApp1, VMApp2, VMApp3 (vSphere 5.1 HA) + VMSQL Node 1 (Microsoft Cluster)

HOST2:    VMApp1, VMApp2, VMApp3 (vSphere 5.1 HA) + VMSQL Node 2 (Microsoft Cluster)

I would like to have you opinion and feasibility.

Thanks
