ESXi Upgrade from 6.0 to 6.5

Hello all,

Recently I upgraded my server from ESXi 5.5 to vSphere Hypervisor 6.0 as free. Now I am wondering whether I can upgrade to 6.5 with vSphere Client (Probably it will be web based for 6.5) as free again. Server pc is CELSIUS R920_E5-2650. One more question; Is there any way to use vSphere monitoring except for web based in 6.5?

There is no native tool but vSphere Host Client is very good for managing your ESXi.

Why you are looking for another tool?

Can I upgrade my VSphere client and server side as free? or does VMware offer only paid products for 6.5 Version? And of course how can I understand that my environment support VMware 6.5 or not? From the compatibility matrix, I couldn't find the version of my server pc. Is there any condition like; "If the system supports VMware 6.0 then it must supoort 6.5 too".

Upgrade from 6.0 to 6.5 - Many issue!!!!

You got it same issue maybe i just upgrade from 6.0 to 6.5 and got many many errors/failed in dmesg.
