Hi,

have you tried to install the HP customized ESXi image?

It contains more specific drivers for your server than the standard VMware image.

You can download it here: HP and VMware’s infrastructure as a service solution | HP® Official Site

Download the HP Offline Array Configuration Utility and boot off it.  Then check to see what your array controller / logical disks setup is.  You may have to create the logical disk setup aka RAID1 if it hasn't already been done out of the box for you

If you can't see your disks or create the logical disk from the Offline Array Configuration Utillity you have a hardware or connection problem with your raid controller.

Hope this has helped.
