Wondering if anyone can hep with this small issue.......I am assiting our network admin in troubleshooting a dropped packets issue that I we are seeing on one of our ESX hosts. Between physical NIC and the Cisco switch it is connected to. I am wondering if there are any commands available that will let me see the size of the buffer and other physical NIC settings in the ESX host. Similar to what you get on a Windows server when you hit the configure button on the NIC and choose the Advanced tab.
I've used the vSphere CLI esxcfg-nics.pl and vicfg-nics.pl but these do not give me what I want.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
