ESXi Host Installation on LXC-Containers

Hi All,

I just started exploring the LXC-containers (LXC - Linux Containers) provided by Linux. I am working on a project where I have the requirement of installing different hypervisors on LXC containers created on a system.

The default LXC templates available are for Ubuntu, Fedora, OpenSuse, Debian etc.

Since ESXi cannot be installed on top of Ubuntu, is there a way to install ESXi (5.1 or above) host on the LXC container directly?

I am not sure if ESXi can be installed , But have you considered using  the OpenVZ and then try visualization the Guests.?
