ESXi Free edition - limitations

Can anyone answer the following questions pls.

1. Is there a detailed comparison of the differences between esxi and esxi free.

2. Can esxi free use shared storage such as a SAN or must the vmfs datastores be on local disks.

3. If i can use san storage for VMFS - Is there any issue with sharing this datastore with other esxi free servers or can the datastore only be access by a single esxi host.

Thanks.

There are no restrictions about SAN and VMFS.

The monitoring capabilities are much reduced in the free version - no alerting (need vcentre), no info on RAM deduplication etc etc.,

Please award points to any useful answer.
