ESXi Bandwidth Quota

Hello all, I was just wondering if ESXi is able to set bandwidth

quota's? Or any other suggestions on how I can somehow manage bandwidth

using ESXi?

Thanks in advance.

you can use something known in VMware as Traffic Shaping

you use it in vSwitches (it can be used per Port Group)

just take notice that the the configuration is for outgoing traffic only

I see, how does it work exactly? There is a traffic shaping option in ESXi per virtual machine ? Can I get it to shut down that VM interface if it has downloaded a certain amount?

No it's pure throtling. So you specify a max bandwidth(link speed). It's not an I/O quota.
