ESXi 8.0 install DPU error

After booting the  ESXi8.0 installer and it finishes loading the installer a message appears in the top left corner of the screen for 2 seconds saying:

EsxioHostNetImpl: DPU 0x6500 does not have K2K uplink

The Bluefield-2 DPU has the VMware DSE enabled does anyone know that this error means? There's no dialog in the installer to select the DPU so it's only being installed on the host.

How is the Server/DPU configured? Did you add the DPU yourself or did you purchase a server with the DPU pre-installed?

For DSE to work properly, the DPU needs to be installed along with an additional card and cables connecting the card with the DPU for proper server integration and management. You also need to make sure you are using the correct BIOS type, BMC version, firmware and drivers per the VMware Compatibility Guide.

If you did not purchase a "DPU Ready" server, Dell offers a customer kit for 15G servers to make them compatible for DPU/DSE.

Hope this helps
