ESXi 6 host cannot connect LAN

Hi everybody,

I have very strange network issue I cannot figure out what the causes are? (I have been working for long term as Sys admin)

I have 01 DELL 720 machine with 4 nics and installed ESXi 6.0 U2 Dell customized image.

Initial installation, I used vmnic0 for management network (10.10.10.0/24)

I used another nic (vmnic1 - no teaming - separate network) and create a vswitch1 for connect to our LAN (10.50.60.0/24 - Gateway 10.50.60.1).

I installed 2 VMs on this host and attach to vswitch1 for LAN access with  IPs are static, as follows:

- vmwin (fresh Windows 2012R2) with 1 nic with IP 10.50.60.5/24

- vmcent (fresh CentOS 7) also with 1 nic with IP 10.50.60.6/24

- I also added another management IP (vmk1 10.50.60.2/24) on vswitch1 for ESXi host.

The setup looks simple and VMs within vswitch1 can connect together. However, when connecting to LAN outside only can vmwin ping gateway 10.50.60.1 and access other hosts LAN without problem.

Neither ESXi host nor CentOS can ping to gateway and access LAN.

I have tried to change MAC, change IP of vmk1, and VMs but nothing works except vmwin. Capture at vmnic1 (pktcap-ui) I can see both ARP request and response sent out from vmk1 and vmcent.

Could anyone help me with this problem?

Thank in advance!

HHL
