ESXi 6.5u1 host profile - Ruleset Replication-to-Cloud Traffic not found

Hi,

I've got a non compliant state on my ESXI 6.5u1 fresh install, it says Ruleset Replication-to-Cloud Traffic not found but i don't find anything under firewall config about this cloud ruleset.

Haven't got this problem on ESXi who was update via update manager from 5.5u3 to 6.5u1, why ?

Thanks !

Damien.

The ruleset Replication-to-Cloud Traffic is used by the vSphere Replication appliance to connect to the cloud. Restarting the vSphere Replication appliance will install the required VIB on the host. See for more information: How vSphere Replication Connects to Cloud. On the host you upgraded, the VIB will be already installed.

Hi,

I have exactly this issue. Hosts were in the beginning freshly installed with 6.5.0 and at that time I also deployed the replication appliance version 6.5.0. Recently I upgraded all hosts to 6.5.u1. One particular host was re-installed with the 6.5u1 image and on that one the ruleset replication-to-cloud is not present.

However a reboot of the replication appliance doesn't help. The situation remains the same. No ruleset Replication-to-Cloud on the host. Then I updated the Replication appliance to version 6.5.1 but still no success. Rebooting the replication appliance or the host doesn't do the trick. The ruleset remains absent.

Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks for any pointers that lead me to a solution!
