ESXi 6.5 - "Lost access to volume due to connectivity issues."

ESXi is installed on an Intel S3520 240GB SSD drive. Then there are 3 other same SSDs being used for datastores. All on AHCI controller on board.

All 4 SSD drives are getting "Lost access to volume due to connectivity issues". See attached.

When this happens the system gets sluggish and locks up.

Supermicro X10SRW-F

i can't find this exact drive model on compatibility list. anyone have issues using these Intel SSDs?

Try to update HDD and controller firmwares.

I wonder if this is related to the poor local SATA disk performance issue some have reported with the new native AHCI drivers in 6.5.

Check if you are using the new driver (vmw_ahci, per the link below) and if so, have you tried to back out to the older AHCI driver as a test?
