ESXi 6.0 U1 running on Supermicro server, ESX 6.0 U1 installed as client VM, have control via vSphere and can connect to VM with vSphere. Problem, cannot get windows client to communicate throgh phsical host to e ternal network. Still working on the issue

So, you have ESXi 6 nested on ESXi 6?

If so, check the following:

• Promiscuous mode enabled on the parent-ESXi vSwitch hosting the Management Network of the child ESXi
• Set monitor_control.restrict_backdoor = "TRUE" in the ESXi VM's advanced options or its' *.VMX
