There is a new feature called Multicast Snooping introducted in ESXi 6.0 -> http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-60/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.vmware.vsphere.networking.doc%2FGUID-50AF72...
Is it possible to configure it through ESXi shell (ssh)?
ssince this requires a VDS you ll not be able to implement on the free licenses.

This is turned on at the VDS level, so i would say it may be possible with powercli, but doubtful via the ssh host shell.
the only options i see for vds from the host shell are:
[root@T%%%%~] esxcli network vswitch dvs vmware
Usage: esxcli network vswitch dvs vmware {cmd} [cmd options]
Available Namespaces:
lacp A set of commands for LACP related operations
Available Commands:
list List the VMware vSphere Distributed Switch currently configured on the ESXi host.

Thanks.
I'll look into powercli.
So far I was able to find only mentioned method via vSphere Web client.
Unfortunately I don't have access to Web Client with Free version of ESXi.
ssince this requires a VDS you ll not be able to implement on the free licenses.
