ESXi 6.0 Mouse Issues

I have a few Windows Server 2019 instances running on ESXi 6.0 in my home lab setup and I seem to come across the same issue over and over again. All of the VMs are built exactly the same but only one of them has an issue where the mouse will just stop clicking. It moves around and will highlight things that its hovering over, but it will not click. VMware tools is installed (I've tried a million different versions and updates, with and without the USB and/or the ps2 drivers) but still no luck. The USB 2.0 and 3.0 controllers are installed. The only fix seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling VMware tools a bunch of times until it starts working which is really inconvenient. Then when I do get it working, it may work fine for a few weeks or a few days sometimes only a few hours before it stops working again. I have tried using the web console and the vsphere client and they both give me the same problem.

Has anybody had a similar issue or know of a way to resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided

Hi,

You have already done plenty of tests.

Have you also tried adding new USB controllers and removing installed ones?
