Hi All,
I do not find anything about Disk Alignment Issue on ESXi 6.0 in combination with MS SQL 2014 or EXC2013.
It is anymore a possible issue ?
There are special Best Practices ?
Thank you in advance for any Hints.
Andrea
There's nothing for you to worry about, disk alignment is pretty much a non-existing issue these days unless you manually mess with partition tables yourself and configure sub-optimal starting sectors.
ESXi has always automatically (or at least since version 2.x/3.x) aligned VMFS formatted partitions on physical block storage volumes.
Likewise, Windows is aligning partitions automatically since Server 2008 as well, so you're good.

Thank you,
I was convinced about it, but hering a 2nd opinion is everytime better.
