ESXi 6.0 DirectPath for LSI 2008-I8 IT mode

Hi,

I installed ESXi 6.0 on a PowerEdge 2950 III. I virtualized my version of Windows Server 2012 R2 that I use with the Windows storage pool so it is already created. I use it with an LSI SAS card 2008- I8 in IT mode with Bios.

To avoid having to redo my pool on my system, I want to attribute the LSI card for my virtual machines. For information, Intel VT-d' is enabled then ... when I go into the advanced options for "DirectPath", I got message : "Host does not Support passtrougth configuration". when I go to ESXi device, it does not find more ...

I wanted to know if my card is compatible and this card is compatble. Is there any problem with last version ESXI 6.0 ?

Could you help me please ?

Thanks for your time.

I don't see the PowerEdge 2950 III on the HAL for direct path IO.

Can you confirm http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php

Thanks

Actually probably because the original parts that server is a ''Perc5i'' I replaced. Otherwise PowerEdge 2950 supports virtualization so I see no constraint...

I'm wrong maybe?

Thank you for your reply!
