ESXi 6.0.0., 5572656 - Problems with the new VMware Tools 10.1.X

Hello,

after installing the updates on our ESX 6.0.0. Server including the VMware Tools, on serveral Windows VMs (7, 2008R2) the Tools crash (not running).

We selected all Options without VSS and VMCI when installing the Tools. Also we couldn't install the new tools on openSuse 11.4. 32-bit VMs.

Are there every known issue?

hi,

I would recommed to completely uninstall vmware tools. reboot the vms . And install tools again.

This process will cleanup the old installation fully.

In suse please try to install the open tools.
