Has anybody suceeded in installing ESXi 5.x on a Dell Vostro 470? We do have a successfull installation of ESX 5.1 on a Vostro 460 (i3), but the hardware of the 470 looks different (chipset, etc.)
I'm also interested in finding this out. This box looks to be a great base for a home lab as they take up to 32GB of RAM. I know its not on the HCL but is there anyway of finding the specific components this model is using and then seeing if others have had success with those? I'm understandably a little reluctant to pull the trigger on buying one if it can't run ESXi 5.1.
