Hey all!
I have noticed that after the update using the official patch Build Number: 623860
The ESXi host doesn't shutdown and startup automatically the configured VMs
So I did a roll back.
regards,
Panos
Do you have an HA cluster? If yes then it's a normal behavior:
http://vinfrastructure.it/en/2012/03/issue-or-feature-in-vcenter-server-5-0-update-1/
It's a single Esxi 5 host. In the configuration is enabled as you can see in the screenshot
Hello Panos,
Autostart / Stop doesn't work anymore in build 623860 for the free licensed hosts. The feature is still working on hosts in evaluation mode and with purchased licences.
The support of vmware told me they plan to fix this bug in 5.0 U2 😕 .
regards,
Urs
