I have just installed a ESXi 5.0 with latest patch on our 3 x Dell R510 server.
During a check on the dmesg I encounter the following message
cpu0:617908)WARNING: UserObj: 675: Failed to crossdup fd 1, /dev/char/pty/t0 type CHAR: Would block
cpu3:617908)WARNING: UserObj: 675: Failed to crossdup fd 1, /dev/char/pty/t0 type CHAR: Would block
cpu10:617908)WARNING: UserObj: 675: Failed to crossdup fd 1, /dev/char/pty/t0 type CHAR: Would block
cpu12:617908)WARNING: UserObj: 675: Failed to crossdup fd 1, /dev/char/pty/t0 type CHAR: Would block
cpu2:617908)WARNING: UserObj: 675: Failed to crossdup fd 1, /dev/char/pty/t0 type CHAR: Would block
cpu4:617908)WARNING: UserObj: 675: Failed to crossdup fd 1, /dev/char/pty/t0 type CHAR: Would block
...
...
Any ideas about this error? Could we just ignore it?
Hi,
I got exactly the same problem with a DELL R710.
Did you solve this porblem?? and how did you solve it?
Thanks for the response.
Xavier.
Hi,
you can ignore these warnings. These come from ssh login (or login on the console).
