We have just installed ESXi 5 and gust Windows Server 2008 64bit. We created trunk on Cisco switch and on the ESXi allowed all VLANs. Inside the vSwitch we created a VLAN were we put all the virtual servers.What we see the server 2008 64bit connects to a network with "unidentified network" status and none of the other guests or external servers do not respond to a PING from this server nor can we add this server to a domain. For troubleshooting purposes we put other guest systems like Windows XP, Server 2003 64bit or Server 2008 32bit and none of them had any problems with networking, only server 2008 64bit has this problem.
Anybody has or had the same issue?
