[ESXi 5] NFS disconnects during writes

Hello,

I've been having a issue with my Windows Server 2003 R2 running NFS. So what I do is create a new VM, select my NFS store on my Windows Server 2003 for the storage location, boot the VM, which works fine, but as soon as the OS starts trying to write anything to disk, it hangs. If I check the status of the NFS datastore in the vSphere client it shows it as inactive. After powering off the VM and waiting a couple minutes, the NFS store becomes active again.

Any assistance is appreciated.

How many VMs are there in 1 NFS datastore connected to ESXI.

Use esxtop refer the below kb to analysis performance issue on storage GAVG should not be more than 25
